As per the recent notification issued by Joint Admission Board(JAB), the JEE Advanced examinations will be conducted online from 2018. Until now the examination included two offline papers which were conducted on the same day. Each of the papers comprised questions from Physical, Chemistry and Mathematics took from Class XI and XII syllabus. The duration of the examination is three hours for each paper.

The JEE Main Examination is conducted for the purpose of admission to NITs, IITs and Govt funded Technical Technical institutions. To secure a seat in one of these premier institution, one has to clear the JEE advanced examinations with good score.

3) Answer modification – In the offline pattern, the answer once marked cannot be altered whereas, in the online mode, students have the option to re-edit the answer which provides a great advantage.
